Hearing Assessments

Hearing Assessments

Hearing loss can affect anyone from children with recurrent ear infections to adults noticing communication difficulties. Symptoms that often lead to a hearing test include muffled hearing, difficulty following conversations, ringing in the ears, or turning up the TV too loud

Our assessments include

Measures hearing sensitivity across different frequencies to detect the degree and type of hearing loss

Evaluates how well you understand speech in quiet and noisy environments

Checks middle ear function for issues such as fluid buildup or eardrum problems

Commonly used in newborn and pediatric screening to assess inner ear (cochlear) function

Measures how the hearing nerve and brain pathways respond to sound, often used in infants or those unable to do routine tests

ASSR is an objective hearing test used to estimate hearing levels in infants, young children, or individuals unable to respond to standard tests. It provides detailed, frequency-specific results for each ear and helps guide diagnosis and treatment planning
